Linda Gjergji, Program Specialist

Linda comes with a wealth of great knowledge and experience in Marketing, Procurement, as well as experience with Budget, Accounting, Finance, International Business, Managing International Student personnel, and Researching.  Her research interests consist of social innovations and women issues.

She has earned a Master’s in Business (MBA) from the University of Incarnate Word in 2017, and Bachelors of Banking, Finance and Accounting from University of Prishtina.  Currently, she is pursuing a Ph.D. degree in Adults Education, Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the University of The Incarnate Word.

She is proficient in both Spanish and Albanian, and comes with numerous awards, designations, and other accolades during her career.  She was awarded a fully funded scholarship for the Transformational Leadership program by USAID, and has been a member of Delta Mu Delta Honors Society in Business Administration.  Her leadership accomplishments also include the establishment of a Non-Profit organization in 2017, which intended to increase women’s involvement in the community.

On March 2021, Linda assumed the role of Program Specialist with UTSA Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) funded by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), providing administration, budget, training and marketing for the department and handling various administrative decisions, while coordinating programs and projects within the department.
